Claudia was preparing for a 155-mile ultramarathon across the Sahara and couldn’t stomach another sweet gel. Schalk was coming off a decade in management consulting and rethinking how his sweet protein bars fueled, rather than satisfied, his sweet cravings.

What began in a small Brooklyn apartment with a KitchenAid and an idea in 2024 has grown into a true alternative to the sugar-heavy status quo. SVRY is designed to fight flavor fatigue and break the sweetness cycle.
